  • Instructions: A. Gas Filling (Please use only high quality pure butane gas) 1) 2050-TORCH is sold without butane gas pre-filled. 2) Make sure Gas Control Lever is at "OFF" position before filling. 3) While filling with a gas container, shake it a few times to warm up the fuel. 4) Insert gas container's nozzle vertically down into the filling valve. Slightly pump the nozzle valve to get the best filling result. 5) When gas starts overflowing, pull the nozzle out from filling valve. It takes 25-35 seconds to fill up your 2050-TORCH. The maximum loading capacity of liquefied butane gas is 26 grams or 1.58 fl. oz. Do not over-fill. 6) Wait a few minutes for the butane gas to stabilize before ignition. 7) An incorrect engagement of container gas nozzle and filling valve may jam the valve's parts and create gas leakage. Just insert the container nozzle into the filling valve again, pump the nozzle slightly up and down the valve several times to stop the leaking. B. Ignition 1) Push the "Safety Lock" button upwards to getsecurity system released. 2) Turn the "Gas Control Lever" slowly to "ON" position. A hiss sound is heard while gas flows out. Press the ignition button, a flame is present at once. 3) Turn to set the holes on the "Air Control Tube" tocoincide with that of the "Connection Tube" C. Shut-off 1) Turn the "Gas Control Lever" to "OFF" position 2) Push down Safety Lock to lock up the security system. D. How to adjust length of flame 1) You can adjust the length of flame of your 2050-TORCH from 12 to 32 mm (1/2 to 1-1/2 inches) byjust turning the Gas Control Lever to get the flame length to your need. 2) If you would use your 2050-TORCH under cold surroundings, you may not get a satisfactory flame length at beginning, just warm up its gas tank with your hands a few minutes to let butane gas "wakeup" to work. You may have to do the same to gas container before filling the butane gas into the torch's tank under cold surroundings. 3) Never preheat your 2050-TORCH with open flame or immerse it with hot water. E. CAUTIONS 1) The flame is almost invisible in strong light or daytime. 2) Do not ignite or light directly against face, finger, skin or near combustible materials, heater, furnace, open flame areas. 3) Do not touch the nozzle during or after immediate use. 4) Store the unit in a dry, cool, safe place. 5) Do not attempt to take apart, repair or readjust. Your 2050-TORCH is not user serviceable. 6) Always turn Gas Control Lever to "OFF" position and push down the Safety Lock when your 2050-TORCH is not in use. 7) Do not use your 2050-TORCH in surroundings where temperature is over 50 degree C. (122° F.) 8) Keep your 2050-TORCH out of reach of children
